Ben Tseng, Ph.D.

Ben Tseng, Ph.D., has been EpiCept's Chief Scientific Officer since
January 2006. Prior to its merger with EpiCept in 2006, Dr. Tseng
served as Vice President, Research of Maxim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Dr. Tseng previously served as Vice President, Biology for Cytovia,
Inc, which he joined in 1998. From 1995 to 1998 Dr. Tseng served
as Director, Therapeutic Biology at Chugai Biopharmaceutical, Inc.
and from 1989 to 1995 as Scientific Director, Biology at Genta Inc.
Prior to joining Genta, Dr. Tseng was a tenured Associate Adjunct
Professor in the Department of Medicine, faculty member of Physiology
and Pharmacology Program, and Associate Member of the Cancer Center
at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Tseng received a
B.A. in Mathematics from Brandeis University and a Ph.D. in Molecular
Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University.
