Gavril Pasternak, MD, Ph.D
Dr. Pasternak is a recognized authority on opioid receptor mechanisms. He has published a substantial body of literature on the subject and he is on the editorial boards of numerous Journals related to the subjects of neuropharmacology and pain. Dr. Pasternak is a Member and attending Neurologist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and is a Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience, Pharmacology and Psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College and Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
Bruce F. Mackler, Ph.D., JD, MS
Dr. Mackler has 22 years of FDA legal/regulatory experience in biomedical products, including biologics, drugs, medical, and in vitro diagnostic devices, food and cosmetics manufactured by traditional and biotechnology processes (recombinant proteins, genomics, cell and gene therapy). Dr. Mackler has a Ph.D. and M.S. in the area of immunology/Microbiology and has authored more than 100 scientific papers and abstracts, as well as numerous articles and briefing papers on FDA and FDA-related legal and regulatory issues. Dr.Mackler has counseled clients on FDA regulatory problems, and how to effectively interact with the FDA. He has assisted clients in developing regulatory approval strategies, and applications for marketing registrations for drugs, biologics, in vitro diagnostics and devices.
Dr. Mackler received his JD from the South Texas College of Law of the Texas A&M University, his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon Medical School, his MS from Pennsylvania State University, and his BA from Temple University. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, and admitted to practice before the Federal District and Appeals Court, and before the Supreme Court.
Prof. Christoph Stein, MD
Dr. Stein is a recognized authority in experimental and clinical pain research. He has studied mechanisms of peripherally mediated opioid analgesia for over 12 years and has published an extensive body of literature on this topic. He is on editorial boards of several journals related to Pain, Anesthesia and Analgesia. Dr. Stein is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Freie Universität, Berlin, Germany and Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr.Howard Maibach
Dr. Maibach is a recognized expert in the field of Dermatology, and specifically, dermatopharmacology and dermatotoxicology. Dr. Maibach has published over 1700 articles on various dermatology-related subjects, and is a frequent lecturer on various subjects related to dermatology. Dr. Maibach is currently a professor in the Department of Dermatology, School of Medicine, at the University of California in San Francisco.
