EpiCept is focused on developing novel therapies in the areas of cancer and pain.

In the area of cancer, Ceplene® is approved in the European Union and Israel and is intended as remission maintenance therapy in the treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), for adult patients who are in their first complete remission. Two other product candidates are in clinical development for the treatment of solid tumors.

In the area of pain, the Company is advancing prescription pain products that use a topical delivery approach, as opposed to systemic or injectable modes, for both acute and chronic pain.
